Too Much...
Just checking in to apologize for over a week of silence. Painting an entire house, going out of town for a family wedding and then having family staying with us (while I continue to go to work every day) has made for a whirlwind that has burned me out. I look forward to being back here soon.
On the Air Thursday
I'd like to take a moment to update you on the latest in my world.
I'm married to a wonderful man, enjoying and adjusting to Houston...although I don't know if it's possible to ever adjust to the heat and humidity here! I'm loving my brand new life.
And, I just had a meeting with some great people over at KTRH 740 AM and will be filling in for one of their local hosts, Michael Barry.
Listen live this Thursday, July 31 5-7pm Central time (that's 3-5pm for you in the Pacific Time Zone) on www.ktrh.com.
Personal Space :)
I'll be taking a bit of a vacation in the coming days and will very likely do very little blogging in the next couple of weeks. My apologies in advance. I promise to get back in the swing of things soon.
Thank you all for your kind words, your well wishes for this very exciting new season of my life.
God bless!
On a personal note...
Just 3 weeks until the BIG DAY :)
A New Beginning
I've hinted at some changes and new things in previous posts. Well, it's now time to let you know that part of the reason that I've had a harder time focusing on news as I've been in the trenches of planning a wedding. Yes, a wedding! A friendship I've had for many years has blossomed into love.
I will continue posting on this site. I will also continue the public speaking and will be maintaining open doors in the media world.
The big event takes place this summer :)
Delay in posting show
I apologize for the delay in getting the show up this week. I've come down with the flu. I'll get it up before the end of the week. Meanwhile, we'll have lots to discuss with the President's State of the Union and Forida tomorrow.
Florida
The Rudy strategy of waiting for Florida is looking more and more like a gamble. We are days away from finding out whether he wins the jackpot on this play. It may be do-or-die, according to Chuck Todd over at MSNBC.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
It is at this time of year that I find myself ever more grateful for my friends, family and wonderful internet and radio community.
May your Christmas be full of life, joy and good health.
I'm so grateful for you!
First Things First
I received a very sad phone call. A friend I've known for many years has died. Suicide.
Internet Up and Running
My sincerest apologies...I have finally moved and got my internet set up. So, I'm back!
