More Faux-tography

This reminds me of the Muhammad Al Dura case. A staged story, this time it's care of CNN.

Goodbye President Bush...Perspective

Mark Davis does an excellent job of keeping first things first. Many of us conservatives did not agree with the President on some key issues. But, Davis puts things in perspective. A must read.

It's A Girl!

I know that the mainstream news is salivating at the approaching Inauguration. So, I can and will get to politics and our President Elect but in my world there is even bigger news....We had our ultrasound and found out that in just a few months we'll be welcoming a little baby girl into our family!

It's amazing to me that even though we know that there are only the obvious two possibilities, it neverthless is such an exciting, moving, thrilling moment to find out the sex of the baby.

Wow!

Evaluating George W Bush

It's been eight years and now he's got just over one week left in office. President George W. Bush. How do you rank the president, the man, the administration? How will history assess this administration?

I have mixed feelings about his administration. Namely, I believe he was the right man at the right time on September 11, 2001. I'm also grateful for the Supreme Court Justices apppointed by President Bush. However, I'm also very disappointed by his actions and failure to act with regards to the border and spending.

What They Are Teaching Palestinian Children

It's incredibly sad but frightfully true. Check out this video, another display of the propaganda feeding Palestinian children.

New Year's Resolutions

I've got a few New Year Resolution suggestions for a few public figures...have you got any of your own?

Federal and state governments: get out of the market and out of our lives.

•· Taxes getting outrageous...obesity tax in NY

•· Don’t talk on cell phone...WA and CA

•· No more bailouts

Barack Obama: do away with the “change” and “hope” mantras and start talking more soberly about the very real crises we face as a nation.

President Bush: go get some rest in Dallas. You might want to avoid the media for a while...consider going without a television or internet for about a year.

GOP: YOU do need a message of change....take a good hard look at where you went wrong. Return to your conservative roots...for a change.

Britney Spears: focus on your children. And, use the spotlight for your career, not for your personal life.

Sarah Palin: keep doing your job as you have. Ignore the media, as much as possible. And, start playing a role in the Republican party...to help bring it to its conservative roots.

Amy Winehouse: avoid writing/singing songs that could end up being humiliating for you. God help you.

MSNBC: Either begin covering the news with some journalistic integrity or just make it official and join the Obama Press team!

Happy New Year

I just got back from freezing Montana, where we had a wonderful vacation with family. So I'm wishing you a Happy New Year a day late.

As we enter 2009, I thought I'd share some good news (no, that's not an oxymoron!) with you! May you and yours have the very best in 2009!

Hamas "Celebrates" Christmas

My guess is that the mainstream media won't cover this story...of Hamas legalizing crucifixion for Christians right around Christmas time. This is pure evil!

A Christmas Prayer

My husband and I are getting ready to fly to Montana for Christmas. California girl in arctic temperatures will likely be hangin around the fireplace the whole time!

I'd like to take this time to wish you the best of this Holiday season. For those who celebrate Chanuka, Happy Chanukah to you. And, for those who celebrate Christmas, a very Merry Christmas to you. For those who celebrate Christmas, I pray that Christ would live in the center of your festivities. I pray that time with your loved ones will be special and full of gratitude. This time of the year is full of mixed emotions for many of us who absolutely adore this time of the year while at the same time missing loved ones, who helped shaped the wonderful memories of Christmas in our lives, who are no longer with us to celebrate. Treasure your time with your loved ones, as we don't know how long we have each other.

God bless you and thank you for a fantastic 2008!

I look forward to an even better 2009 together!
