In the early days of this administration, I predicted, hoped and prayed that President Obama would gain wisdom and understanding as he began to carry the burden of the office. I've had little glimpses of that happening, although not as much as I'd like to see.
While this latest move to block the release of detainee photos seems like another flip-flop and, as a result, comes off un-Presidential, I do believe that it is a reflection of the burden and responsibility of his actions as President.
My guess is that we'll see a few more of these kind of young, inexperienced-looking moves. But, as long as he ends up in the right position when he's done fumbling, I commend him-and those advising him in this vein.
No one wants to see Obama fail. We all want America to win.
