Flip-flop on Detainee Photos?
In the early days of this administration, I predicted, hoped and prayed that President Obama would gain wisdom and understanding as he began to carry the burden of the office. I've had little glimpses of that happening, although not as much as I'd like to see.
While this latest move to block the release of detainee photos seems like another flip-flop and, as a result, comes off un-Presidential, I do believe that it is a reflection of the burden and responsibility of his actions as President.
My guess is that we'll see a few more of these kind of young, inexperienced-looking moves. But, as long as he ends up in the right position when he's done fumbling, I commend him-and those advising him in this vein.
No one wants to see Obama fail. We all want America to win.

With all due respect and the right call was made in this case finally: overall, I hope he fails. About 2100 hrs tonight I found out Comrade President is going to take steps to limit compensation to non-TARP bank employees. IF this was the only thing that terrifies me about Comrade President I would be happy...BUT he is going to keep pushing for socialized medicine, he's going to keep pushing on destroying the 2nd Amendment, there are several bills designed to violate the 1st Amendment.
IF he were to take his oath of office serious I would hope succede, but he seams content on destroying the Nation's culture. Since that is the tact he's taking I hope he fails worse than jimmy carter, because I want nothing more than a strong successful United States of America. If he gets everything he wants We won't recognize this country in four years and that I hope he fails at
I want Kenyan oBongo to fail, precisely because I want America to succeed. Obama wants to transform America into a pro-islamofascist, Marxist tyranny. That may work for Europeans who love to hate Jews and personal freedom, but it thus far has not worked for America.
The best I can hope for while Obama is in office, is that he will be inept enough to not get anything done at all. To quote Thomas Jefferson, "That government which governs least, governs best."
