Lores Rizkalla Live

For once, I am on top of things! I read that Charles Krauthammer piece even before I see now that it is being recommended by Lores Rizkalla.

I must admit that one of the things I liked about that Krauthammer article, is that it is relatively brief.

He of course hits the nail right on the head. He echoes a 45 minute talk given by Evan Sayet at the Heritage Foundation, a video that sounds long, but goes by quickly because it is such a display of both Evan's sense of humor as well as his clear thinking.

Basically, what these two individuals are saying, is that at the core of the liberal agenda is equality. That may sound like a noble goal, but that is precisely why so many well-intentioned people get fooled by it.

Equality is NOT a laudable goal. Let me use by way of analogy the world of professional sports. Should some utility infielder who hardly ever plays because he is simply not all that great of a baseball player, earn as much salary as, say, Manny Ramirez, who is probably one of the half a dozen or so greatest baseball hitters that the world has ever seen?

Suppose, just for the sake of argument, that some smart aleck would say yes, they should get the exact same salary. But if they would, then why would Manny Ramirez get up at 4:00 in the morning to start his strenuous workout like he does? Since he would be getting the same salary as anybody else regardless of his performance, he would be motivated to live the easy life, becoming a couch potato as he eats his fourth full pizza of the day.

Woops, my computer is acting weird on me once again, so I cut myself off in the middle just now.

I think, though, that I have already made my major point for now.

See, I think we have a choice. Either accept the inherent inequalities in life, where some people excel in certain areas and others excel in other areas or not at all, or we have a situation where EVERYbody lives a mediocre or even poverty-stricken existence. Do we want to become like France, or worse, like some G-d forsaken third-world country, where everybody goes hungry and nobody has hope for the future of a better life? Because this latter scenario is exactly where Sultan oBongo is taking this country, and will succeed, unless people like us, stop him.

Obama does want equal equality for all, but not in the way some people think, he wants 5% rich and the rest of America to be peaseants and slaves, Obama is equal to Hugo Chavez right now .

Americas better wake up fast. This guy is insane.

Today April 5,2009 I heard Lores make the comment that you dont know if Obama ever read the Bible in Rev Wrights church. Black people dont read the Bible now! I am black and i can assure you and all the other Republican racist like you,Rush,and Hannity that we do read the Bible and we are just as informed if not more on its content than you and all those like you. I tell everyone black that i know to listen to your shows. We must be informed who the real enemy is and for people of color thats you. What has happened to this country isnt Obamas fault.This country has been run by white people, this country is the way it is because white people have ran it into the ground and now your worst dreams are a reality because your worst fears have come to past . A black man in the white house.Obama now has to deal with all the global mistakes that your hero George Bush has left him with. If the above statement made by Jack Davis is not pure, unadulterated racism, than nothing is. He is as much of a bigot as anybody who ever belonged to the Ku Kux Klan.

I know that such a racist does not deserve a reasoned, well-measured response, but I will do so anyway, because I feel protective over Lores Rizkalla. I HATE when people attack her. Thank G-d, it rarely happens. It should never happen.

I was not fortunate enough to listen to Lores' radio show today, as some of us have to work for a living. But if all she said was that she questioned whether Obama ever read the Bible, how in G-d's name is that racist? There are at least two White women who work with me, who also never read the Bible; does the fact that I am mentioning it, make me an anti-White or anti-woman racist?

Many people voted for Obama last November because they hoped that it would be a way of ending, once and for all, the endless claims that Whites hate Blacks. But all his winning the election has done, is slightly changed the way that Blacks accuse Whites of racism. Now, if any White person dares to criticize Obama for ANYthing, that person is automatically labeled a racist. How convenient for making Obama not have any accountability at all for his actions!

I would hope, though, that we patriotic Americas have enough inner strength, to withstand such ridiculous charges, and not let Obama get away with ANYthing that leads to the destruction of our great country.

Wow Jack, relax. I question whether many of our leaders have read the Bible. I also said that we are a post-Christian America. This has NOTHING to do with color; and, quite honestly, it's silly at best that we're having this discussion. This is about your projection and nothing else.

This is just a side note, but this coming Sunday will be a very rare Sunday in that I am not scheduled to work on that particular day. So, I hope that Lores Rizkalla's show will not be pre-empted by anything, so that I can listen to it. I miss hearing that pretty, melodic voice of hers.

Sorry, Lores, but I too heard you specifically question whether Pres. Obama had read the Bible. You know the audio is stored on the KTRH site, so why quibble?

You have never questioned whether Presidents Bush or Reagan read the Bible, though out of the three of them only one has lived up to scripture in their lives.

Ladonne , if you don't like listening to Lores than you can listen to the Communists on Air Amerca, Conservative talk radio is great , even NPR is Ok, but you would be great on Air America,and baseball is the most boring sport to watch.
