When somebody online first sent me that cover of the New Yorker, I thought it was a joke, a concoction of some super conservative group. Was I surprised that it came from such a left-wing source like the New Yorker!

They claim it was a satire, but I do not believe it. I think that cover represents real, justified fears that mainstream America has about barack hussein osama obama.

Let us hope that this is the catalyst that helps change this campaign around, to give John McCain the victory he deserves.

Lores, Your husband may be dead on with his assessment. In my humble opinion, the NEW YORKER cover is satire. Barack’s own frailties are depicted on it. His decision not to wear an American flag label pin is most notable as was the picture of him without his hand over his heart during the playing of the National Anthem. There was a well circulated photo of Obama dressed in Muslim garb, and his reluctance to use his middle name, Hussein, speaks volumes. The radical depiction of Michelle Obama is a bit over the top, but so was her rhetoric of not being proud of the USA until her husband starting running for President.
We have seen and heard far worse about our side.

Personally, I think that the cover of the New Yorker is an accurate depiction of Obama. I think he is the most dangerous mainstream Presidential candidate since Dhimmi Carter, and we all know what a complete disaster his four years in office were.

Perhaps people who cheer depictions of Obama as a Muslim terrorist are too ignorant to know that he has been a Christian his entire life - not a Muslim. They also seem to have missed the fact that he has never killed anyone - unlike Bush who has killed over 4000 American soldiers and nearly a million Iraqi civilians so he can steal their oil resources- who's really the terrorist here?

Do liberals have any idea just how utterly stupid and morally vacuous they sound? Do liberals refuse to see any moral difference between Americans defending themselves against islamofascists murderers, and the brutally cruel, barbaric acts of the islamofascists themselves? If this were the 1930s and 1940s, liberals would also, apparently, consider Roosevelt killing nazis to be just as evil as the nazis themselves. How can people be so lacking in morals? Oh wait, I already know the answer to that: leftist-run public school education, combined with a complete ignorance of the Bible.
