Yes, It's True

I've been biting my tongue for quite a while now....I did go public on the radio show this last Sunday with some big personal news...my husband and I are expecting! Yes, coming summer of 2009, a little baby just in time to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with us!

We are thrilled and amazed by the miracle that it is...and I can hardly wait to find out whether it's a girl or boy....we'll know in January :)

Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes. I'll keep you posted throughout this wonderful process!

Lores,
My wife and I have been blessed twice with two lovely daughters so I speak from experience when I say that no words from me can close to describing the joys you will encounter after you hold your precious baby for the first time. It will be an unforgettable and open your heart in ways that are now unimaginable. Congratulations to you both.

Not that I am so important that anybody would miss my comments when I have not been on here for some time, yet I do feel bad about not wishing Lores Rizakalla a happy 30-something birthday right on her birthday just eight days ago, on December 20th. While I know it is bad form to reveal her age, I actually have written down two different possible ages for her. In any case, she looks so young and beautiful that I am sure her ID is checked at movies and so forth. Happy birthday, Lores!

Also, of course, congratulations to Lores Rizkalla on her pregnancy, although to be fair to myself, I was the first one to mention this fact on this forum. I do not remember where I said it, but I am convinced that Lores' child will be the most beautiful, adorable baby that the world has seen since Lores herself entered our world 30-something years ago. Congratulations to Lores on this! I hope this baby is the first of many children for Lores, as our world is in desperate need for as many Lores Rizkallas as possible.
