Culture War Continues on a Field Trip!

I've zero-ed in on the presidential election--for obvious reasons--in the last few weeks. But, there is so much more going on that demands our attention. One of the stories that points to the raging culture war we're in is one that comes out of California.

I'm appalled at the gall of some of those on the Left. A teacher took her First grade class on a field trip to be a part of her lesbian wedding. If a conservative teacher had mentioned a prayer given at her/his heterosexual wedding in a classroom, we would have been lectured on the damage done to such young minds when one shoves his personal/religious agenda down the throats of such impressionable minds. What hypocrisy! Taking the children to a "field trip" to watch their female teacher marry another woman is not a way to influence those children?! I think they may have overplayed their hand on this one.

Shame on the teacher. But, even more so, shame on any and all administrators, including the principal, who approved the trip. This is the kind of thing that makes a mockery of what some call "education" in California.

Actually, this story does tie into the Presidential elections very much. The reason why that teacher knew she could get away with brainwashing her six year old female students into becoming future lesbians, is because she knew she had no competition. Everybody but the most wealthy or self-sacrificing parents, can only afford to send their children to public schools. Most of us are therefore at the mercy of the leftists who control such schools.

What is needed is competition, school choice. Well, guess which candidate advocates school choice? Of course John McCain. An Obama victory only encourages lefist teachers to brainwash more and more of their vulnerable children, while a McCain victory would bring back decency in how we raise and teach our children.

The teacher who indoctrinated her students on that field trip should be fired with no pay, also the school district should have all Local, State, and Federal Aid cut off ..

Schools are for learning , not indoctrinating.
