Hear Her Roar?

When did the Left begin to see career motherhood as a sign of accomplishment? Weren't they the ones who told us that marriage and motherhood was bondage?

My new friend Inga Barks, on KERN in Bakersfield (aka "Inga Barks' Territory" according to Sean Hannity), invited me to talk with her about the Nancy Pelosi history-making-womanhood-fest on her show today. Inga is a refreshing voice in this hour. She is unabashedly politically incorrect; she has been a very successful talk radio host as a woman in a very male-dominated field; yet, she is one among many successful, influential women who has not been fixated on her own womanhood and has not needed Nancy Pelosi's "empowerment."

Honestly, all this talk about this being such a "historic" moment for women is insulting to all the women who have made history before Nancy Pelosi.

apparently, it is only a historic moment for women when women have a position of political power within the democratic party. indira gandhi, golda meir, margaret thatcher and condalisa rice do no matter; the only ones who matter are leftist liberal lunatics like nancy pulosi and california senator barbara taxer
