12-year olds and STDs?

Assemblywoman Sally Lieber has proposed a mandated vaccination for the HPV virus, which can only be contracted sexually, for girls entering the 6th grade. You read it right, SIXTH GRADE!

times have sure changed. when i was in sixth grade, i would not even dream of talking to a girl, let alone getting sexual with her. um, anyway, even from a purely physical perspective, isn't that a bit early to get involved in such a manner? come to think of it, even at my age, i am way too shy to talk to women, especially if they are beautiful like lores rizkalla, although over the years i have learned to somewhat hide my inherent shyness
